The Daily Brace 08/22/17:

If you didn’t already know, the MLS recently turned down a 4 billion-dollar media deal, in large part because it would require the league to adopt a promotion/relegation structure. Much of the soccer world utilizes the promotion/regulation structure, but the MLS continues to resist that model. First up is an article that outlines the case for and against implementing this structure in the MLS: SB Nation – Dirty South Soccer – Promotion and Relegation: the Ultimate Debate.

Now take a look at how this debate is having very real, very legal, implications: Law 360 – US Pro Soccer Structure In Question With CAS Challenge.  FYI, CAS in that title is an acronym for the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
